Eric Santos PT, DPT, OCS

Dr. Eric Santos completed his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science at The University of New England in 2009 before going on to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of New England in 2012. He received advanced certification in 2019 by becoming a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapist Association. Eric is recognized as an expert in the area of orthopedics and has more than 12 years of experience as a physical therapist. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Eric worked as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Eric has great experience working with Orthopedic, Neurological, and Vestibular disorders. Eric played lacrosse at The University of New England and continues to enjoy basketball, soccer, skiing and most outdoor activities. He enjoys coaching youth sports as well as spending time with his wife Heather and 3 little girls.

Heather Santos PT, DPT

Dr. Heather Santos completed her Bachelor of Science in Medical Biology at The University of New England in 2009 before going on to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The University of New England in 2012. She has more than 12 years of clinical experience working with individuals of all ages in a variety of settings, including rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, home health and schools. Heather is passionate about working with both geriatric and pediatric populations. Heather has spent the last 8 years working primarily with pediatric patients in local schools in NH and VT. She grew up in Lisbon, NH and returned to the area in 2016 to raise her 3 daughters with her husband Eric. Heather grew up with a passion for athletics and played college basketball at The University of New England. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, golfing, running, being outdoors and helping coach youth sports teams alongside many wonderful community members in Lisbon.

Zachary Knowlton PTA, B.S., CPT

Zach Knowlton completed an Associates of Applied Science degree in Physical Therapist Assisting, with high honors, from River Valley Community College in 2020. Additionally, he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Lyndon State College in 2018. Zach is a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and Certified Personal trainer. Zach brings a unique blend of clinical expertise and athletic performance enhancement to our practice. With a robust background in rehabilitative therapy and strength coaching, Zach excels in designing personalized treatment plans and training programs that cater to the diverse needs of patients and athletes alike. With several years of experience in outpatient orthopedic clinics, sports medicine facilities, and fitness centers, Zach has developed a comprehensive approach to patient care. He is passionate about helping individuals achieve their rehabilitation and fitness goals, whether recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or striving for peak athletic performance. Zach enjoys staying active through basketball, weight lifting, and water skiing. He also enjoys outdoor activities, such as hunting, fishing and enjoying “Lake life. Zach is continually seeking to expand his knowledge and skills to better serve his patients and clients. His dedication to improving the lives of others through physical therapy and strength coaching is evident in his compassionate, patient centered and results-driven approach to care.
